Arthur H. Litteken, age 90, of Windthorst, Texas passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday morning, August 26, 2025.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Windthorst.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Reverend Michael Moloney, OFS, Pastor of St. Mary's and St. Boniface Catholic Churches, officiating. Interment will follow in the Litteken Family Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Arthur was born January 11, 1935 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Joseph Herman Litteken and Anna Marie Berend Litteken.

He and Shirley Deeann Williams were married December 29, 1958 in Vista, California. In 1959, he proudly served his country in the United States Army until 1961.

Arthur graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry from Midwestern University. He worked on T-Bone Ranch.  Arthur enjoyed rodeo and boxing.  He was involved with the Boy Scouts where he served on the Board.  Arthur also served as a Director on several banks in Wichita Falls and Windthorst. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he served on the Finance Council, Parish Council, Eucharistic Minister and anything the church needed, Arthur was there to help.

Arthur was very involved in his community, especially with the youth.  He and Shirley provided a lodge for the youth for many years.  Arthur was honored as Small Business Person of the Year twice.  There were countless things he was involved with throughout his lifetime, too many to even name.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Litteken of Windthorst; two sons, Art Litteken, Jr. of Bastrop, Texas and David Litteken and wife, Cindy of Iowa Park, Texas; two daughters, Debbie Williams and husband, John and Sis Green and husband, David all of Windthorst; one sister, Helen Sigler; ten grandchildren, Art III "Trey", Lexi, Brandon, Clay, Calee, Mike, Lyndsy, Morgan, Kellen and Cody; seven great-grandchildren, Spencer, Nolan, Nyalla, Kaydyn, Paris, Grayson, Stirling and two on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
