Yvonne Pryor Quisenberry, age 87, of Archer City, Texas walked into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday night, April 25, 2024, in Advanced Rehab and Healthcare in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Archer City with Roger Deerinwater of Archer City officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Yvonne was born March 3, 1937 in Archer City to the late, Curg P. Pryor and Hattie Copeland Pryor.

She married Clarence Quisenberry on February 12, 1960 in Aztec, New Mexico.  He preceded her in death on May 14, 1986.  Together they lived all over the world including Indonesia and Singapore as well as the United States.

Yvonne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Archer City.  She worked at Curtis's for twelve years.

Yvonne lived a life of friends and she loved every one of them. As Misty stated "I never saw her meet a stranger and I never saw her treat anybody like one either"

Survivors include three grandchildren, Misty Cameron of Archer City, Stacie Quisenberry of Wichita Falls, and Tessa Singleton and husband, James of Hemphill, Texas; two sisters, Patsy Adams of Athens and Catherine Garlington and husband, Harold of Archer City; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Yvonne was also preceded in death by her son, Dennis Quisenberry on September 9, 2023 and her brothers and sisters, Betty Sutherland, Freddie Pryor, Charles Pryor, Marie Loftin and Danny Pryor.
