Yvette Marie Smith, age 57, of Windthorst, Texas passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at her residence.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, followed by Mass being celebrated at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scotland with Rev. Michael Moloney, Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Windthorst and St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scotland, officiating.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Windthorst under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Yvette was born May 31, 1965 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Gilbert Paul Carroll and Gwendolyn Ann Hutchins Carroll.

Yvette was employed in Civil Service as a Financial Analyst for over thirty-six years at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls.

She married Dan Smith on July 6, 2013 in Scotland, Texas.

Yvette was a devoted wife, mother and above all a devoted MiMi. She loved playing bingo, chicken foot and Yahtzee with her family.  She also enjoyed bowling.  Yvette was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Christian Mother's Society.

Survivors include her husband, Dan of Windthorst; father, Gilbert Paul Carroll and wife, Tammy of Leonville, Louisiana; children, Sean Paul Carroll and wife, Sabrina of San Angelo, Tiffany Goff and fiancé, Johnny Rogers of Henrietta, Travis Goff of Austin, Ashley Smith of Phoenix, Arizona, Allyson Smith and fiancé, Ryan Markley of Bellevue, Amanda Langel and husband, Tevis of Glenwood, Iowa, and Westen Smith of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters, Tanya Wyble and husband, Ricky of Leonville, Louisiana, Dawn Ramos and husband, Dominque of Wichita Falls and Monique Vinning of Houston; mother-in-law, Sis Smith of Scotland; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn Carroll; sister, Roxanne Dominque; and brother, Christopher Babineaux.
