William "Willie" Howard, age 73, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Rev. Billy Jackson of First Pentecostal Church of God in Wichita Falls, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Aulds Funeral Home.

Willie was born December 23, 1948 in Mineral Wells to the late Buford Cleveland Howard and Edna Pearl Bull Howard.

He married Virginia "Jenny" Clark on April 25, 1984 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Together they raised nine children.

Willie was a very hard worker throughout his life.  He was a sandblaster for many years and was employed by Work Services in Wichita Falls.

Willie was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Wichita Falls.  He was a very Godly man who never met a stranger. Willie loved playing the guitar and reading his daily devotional.

Survivors include, his wife of thirty-eight years, Virginia "Jenny" Howard; seven daughters, Carla Baxter, Jennifer Pence, and husband, Travis, Amy Certain and husband, Bill, Kimberly Briones and husband, Gabe, Misty Hofstetter, Ann Howard, and Kristen Scott and husband, James; two sons, Ronnie Vestal, Jr. and wife, Serina and William Howard, Jr. and wife, Jennifer; two sisters, Helen Geiger and husband, Dale and Connie Wood; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and by his beloved fur baby, Bella.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Johnny Howard and one sister, Nancy Chancellor.
