Vinita Frances Adams Tarr, age 85, of Graham, Texas passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, in Olney, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, in the Archer City Cemetery with Frankie Bailey officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Vinita was born January 8, 1938 in Electra, Texas to the late Ferman Newt Adams and Lula Pearl Adams.

Vinita graduated from Archer City High School.

She married the love of her life, Jerry Marvin Tarr on December 26, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He preceded her in death on September 27, 2018.

Vinita was the Southwestern US District Sales Manager for Guardian Industries in Dallas until her retirement.  In 1999, she moved to Graham.  Vinita loved her family and they were the most important part of her life.  She enjoyed just doing her own thing.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Don Tarr and wife, Rhonda of Graham, Texas; three grandchildren, Gary Bohannan of Jean, Ronnie Bohannan of Mineola and Thomas Bohannan of Rye, Colorado; thirteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carolyn Kuester of New Mexico.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Tarr on August 13, 2020.
