Vicki McGrew Carroll, age 56 of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Arlington, Texas, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 in El Paso.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Pastor Preston King of Bethel Baptist Church of Electra, officiating.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Vicki was born September 20, 1965 in Ft. Clayton, Panama to the late Nelmer Ray McGrew and Helen Ruth Heslip Tubbs.

She grew up in Electra where she attended Electra High School and was active in basketball and track. During her time in Electra, she attended Bethel Baptist Church. She later moved to the DFW area, where she resided until relocating to El Paso, TX in July 2021.

It was in Dallas, Texas that she met and married the late Gregory "Gee" Carroll. They were married on June 16, 2000 and remained together until his untimely death in 2018. Together, they started and operated their own trucking business, GetRight Trucking in Arlington. Later, she would work for Modern Transportation in Irving.

Vicki was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, so much that she started her own Dallas Cowboys fan page, Dallas Cowboys 24/7-365, on Facebook. She loved spending time with her family and was always ready to help organize the next family event.  Vicki was a very caring and giving person. She loved her role as bonus mom to Marcus and enjoyed time spent with him and the boys.

Survivors include her three sisters, Rolanda Smoot and husband, Tyronne of Augusta, Georgia, Marsha Cowell and husband, Marshall of El Paso, Texas and Amy Tubbs of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Christopher McGrew and wife, Kimberly and Jamie Tubbs and Tammy Looney, all of Port Orchard, Washington; one step-son and his children, Marcus Carroll and Marcell, Masego and Mekonnen all of Dallas; her special cousins, Betty Jo DuPree and Cecelia Washington-DuPree both of Dallas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
