Troy Duane "Butch" Goodwin, age 66, lifelong resident of Electra, Texas passed away early Monday morning, January 7, 2019 in Electra Health Care.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, in the Chapel of Aulds Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Ainsworth of Electra officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Troy was born June 23, 1952 in Electra to the late Jack Goodwin and Dora Etta Arbuckle Goodwin.

Troy was a farmer and rancher throughout his life.  He loved fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Rutland of Alabama, Theda Tennell and husband, Wayne of Electra, and Debra Monroe of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Weldon Goodwin and wife, Janet of Electra, and Jimmy Goodwin and wife, Cathy of Electra; one sister-in-law, Sue Goodwin of Corinth, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Kenneth Goodwin; and one sister, Jackie Goodwin.
