Stephen Mark Aulds, 66, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Senior Pastor Tim Franks officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Faith Baptist Church.

Mark was born April 23, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Keith Aulds and Pat Thompson Aulds.

Mark graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1978. He was a sewing machine technician in the family business, Ace Sewing Center, in Wichita Falls until he became disabled with Tourette’s syndrome.

Mark was a Christian and a member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park.

Survivors include his mother, Pat Aulds of Iowa Park; brother, Bob Aulds and wife, Meria of Decatur; sister, Judy Reams and husband, Wade of Iowa Park.

The family suggests memorials to the Tourette Association of America, 251-21 Jericho Turnpike, #1022, Bellerose, New York 11426.

After a lifetime of enduring Tourette’s syndrome, the family is comforted by the poem “I’m Free”.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Life up your heart and share with me

God wanted me now, He set me free.
