Stanley Dean Alexander, age 60, lifelong resident of Electra, Texas passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, in a San Antonio hospital.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church in Electra with Rev. Bob Lee officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Stanley was born May 7, 1961 in Electra to the late J.C. Alexander and Dorothy Fay Warnock Alexander.

He was a 1979 graduate of Electra High School.  After working as a home builder for his father's construction company, Stanley began a career in the oil business for over thirty years, the vast majority of which was self-employed.

He married Karen Smith Burroughs on February 1, 2002 in Wichita Falls.

Stanley enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting and watching all sports on television.  He was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and the Electra Tigers athletics  He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Electra.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; two daughters, Laura Burroughs of Electra and Christine Martinez and husband, James of Iowa Park; two sons, Blake Burroughs and wife, Monica of Electra and Logan Burroughs of Electra.  Stanley is the grandfather of nine grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother, Larry Alexander of Arlington; sister, Carol Green and husband, Larry of Iowa Park; uncle, George Alexander of Electra; cousin, Dwayne Alexander of Electra; numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
