Shirley Von Marsh, age 82, a lifelong resident of Electra, Texas, passed away Friday evening, November 23, 2018, at the House of Hope in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Electra, with Dr. Isaac Butterworth, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.  Those serving as Pallbearers will be Richard Beebe, Wayne Marsh, Andy Marsh, Heath Marsh, Ronnie Beebe, Robert Hart, and Dylan Beebe.

Mrs. Marsh was born December 20, 1935 in Brownwood, Texas to the late Tom Cowan and Evalyn Edington Cowan.  She and Roy Lee Marsh were married on March 25, 1952 in Electra.  He preceded her in death on December 13, 1996.

She had attended Electra High School before receiving her L.V.N. Certification from Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas.  After her employment at Bethania, she became employed at the Electra Hospital for approximately five years.  She then worked at the State Hospital in Vernon, Texas until 1980 when she left the medical field to run her and her husband's business in Electra known as Marsh Well Service.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Electra and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Beebe and her husband Ronnie of Midland, Texas;  one granddaughter, Kelly Hart and her husband Robert of Midland;  four grandsons, Wayne Marsh and wife Wendy of Electra, Richard Beebe and wife Christine of Midland, Andy Marsh and his wife Amber of Windthorst, Texas, and Heath Marsh and his wife Abbey of Electra;  six great-grandchildren, Tomi Dorland, Macy Marsh, Maddy Marsh, Evalyn Beebe, Dylan Beebe, and Emersyn Marsh;  and her sister Betty Klindera of Chicago, Illinois, along with her children, Katherine Walters and Mike Klindera.

She was preceded in death by her son Tony Wayne Marsh on April 14, 2016.

The family would like to acknowledge her special friends, Stephanie Butler, Glenda Smith, and Sam Morgan. They would also like to thank Dr. Tom Delizio, and all the staff of the Electra Memorial Hospital, the Electra Home Health Care, the House of Hope, and Hospice of Wichita Falls, for all the loving care they provided for Mrs. Marsh.
