Sherry Gayle Cooper Clubb, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from her residence.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Electra with Ryan Vanderland, Pastor of First Baptist Church and Joe Ainsworth, Former Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Sherry was born January 27, 1946 to the late Cleo Edgar Cooper and Genela Mae Burkhalter Cooper in Seymour, Texas.
She graduated from Electra High School and then attended Vernon College. Sherry married Cecil Clubb in Electra, Texas.
She was the owner and operator of Creative T-Shirts in Electra. Sherry was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Electra and sang in the choir. She loved to sing and was a avid reader of her Bible. Sherry was a very selfless person and always took care of everyone and their needs before herself. Her favorite saying was "Leave It In The Lord's Hands."
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Clubb of Electra; son, Larry McCubbin and wife, Christine of Wichita Falls; sister, Nancy Viavittene and husband, Eddie of Burkburnett; and granddaughters, Leslie McCubbin of Wichita Falls and Shawna Franklin of Burkburnett.
The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church, 406 West Garrison, Electra, Texas 76360.
