Sherrie Norris Glenn went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Chad Stubblefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Sherrie was born on November 21, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late James Charles “Junior” Norris and Martha Reba Centers Norris. Sherrie was raised in Wichita Falls graduating from Wichita Falls High School in 1975. She had various occupations throughout the years including waitressing at the L&M Restaurant, working at Magic Aire, and owning her own accounting business.
She married her beloved husband, Gordon Ross Glenn on December 30, 1981. They shared twenty-three wonderful years hauling cattle while laughing together and was by his side when he passed away on February 1, 2004.
Sherrie was an avid pool player and loved playing in the multiple leagues in and around Wichita Falls. She was proud to be able to attend the 2024 league title tournament in Las Vegas. Sherrie was most proud of the creation of the “Junior” Norris shootouts bringing the best billiards players from around the world to honor her father’s legacy.
Sherrie is survived by her loving partner and best friend, George Ralston; her two daughters, Susan Collins Linder and Jackie Collins Evans and their children Lucas, Haley Linder and Gunner, Maison Evans; brother, Charlie Norris and wife, Donna and their children Mac and Derek Norris; brother, David Norris and partner, Jenifer Brecht and children Braden Norris, Dillon Husar; many other relatives and a large host of friends including her special friends, Glynda Brumley and Paula Woods.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 or to the Humane Society of Wichita County, 4360 Old Iowa Park Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76305.
