Shanna Dawn Snyder, age 49, of Holliday, Texas passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

A Celebration of Shanna's life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Shanna was born August 21, 1972 in Lubbock, Texas.  She graduated from Stillwater High School.

She married Joseph Snyder on October 8, 2011 in Wichita Falls.

Shana served as the Admin Clerk for the Wichita Falls Police Department for twenty years.  In 2016, Shanna left the Wichita Falls Police Department to start the non-profit program, BBA Family Monitoring Service in Wichita Falls, and was the Executive Director.  She had been like a "Second Mom" to many.  She was absolutely a light to her kids and grandkids. Shanna was a collector of vintage jewelry and furniture.  She loved the outdoors especially hiking.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Snyder of Holliday; two sons, Sean Snyder and wife, Amanda of Iowa Park, and Camron Snyder and Kayla Beaman of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Megan Steinberger and husband, J.D. of Windthorst, and Katherine Dees of Holliday; mother, Joy Loper of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Amity Hamilton and husband, Carroll of Lubbock and Brandye Denney and husband, Tim of Holliday; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bethany Caitlin Loper on November 8, 2013; her father, Dale Mooney; and nephews, K'Gan Neal and Michael Perkinson.
