Rosalie Ann Schenk, age 84, of Windthorst, Texas, passed away in a Wichita Falls Health and Rehab facility on Saturday evening, December 31, 2022.

A Rosary, Vigil Service, and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Windthorst with Rev. Michael Moloney, Pastor of St. Mary's and St. Boniface Catholic Churches, officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Windthorst.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City, Texas.

Rosalie was born to the late Joe Lerner and Katie Munchrath Lerner on June 7, 1938 in Windthorst where she was a lifelong resident.

She and Paul J. Schenk were married August 1, 1956 in Windthorst.  He preceded her in death on November 5, 2021.

She was a graduate of Windthorst High School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she had served as organist in her younger years.  She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Chapter # 296.

Survivors include four sons, Tim Schenk and wife Cyndy, and Barry Schenk, both of Scotland, Melvin Schenk and Eric Schenk, both of Windthorst; five daughters, Elaine Berend and husband Lenny of Windthorst, Barbara Huff and husband John of Wichita Falls, Irene Westlake and husband Rich of Austin, Texas, Gail Gilmore and husband Bob of Lakeside City, Texas, and Tanya Rueschenberg and husband Mike of Windthorst; one sister, MaryAnn Heath and husband Bill of Grand Prairie, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty-one great-grandchildren and two on the way.

She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Tommy Schroeder.
