Robin Marie Hughes, age 62, of Archer City, Texas, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Ricky Allen, Pastor of the Archer City Cowboy Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Robin was born February 3, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Robert Gerald Hughes and Nora Jean Phillips Hughes.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.  Robin enjoyed Diamond Art, reading and studying the bible. She spent a lot of her time sitting outside doing the things she loved and enjoying God's creation.  Family was very important to Robin.  Her son. Billy, was extremely important to her.  One of her biggest joys in life; however, was her great-grandson, Oakley Blake.

Survivors include her mother, Nora Reams of Wichita Falls; her best friend and partner in crime, William "Bo" Holley of Archer City; two daughters, Jessica Hulse of Archer City and Wendy Dodson and husband, Gary of Wichita Falls; one son, Billy Hughes of Archer City; two sisters, Janis Bell and husband, Wayne of Mesquite and Debbie Hughes of Wichita Falls; one brother, Kenny Hughes and wife, Cheryl of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Makayla Hall and husband, Marcus, Breden Hulse, Gavin Hulse, Justus Dodson and Jorge Dodson; two great grandsons, Oakley Blake Hall and Hunter Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; step-father, Richard Erwin Reams; and brother, Bobby Gene Hughes.
