Robert Earl Johnson, Jr. (Rob, Robby)

Frisco, Texas

April 13, 1973 – June 13, 2026

Rob peacefully entered the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife, Nichole, and loving daughter, Lilian. While our hearts ache from his absence, we rejoice knowing that he has been made completely whole, healed, and welcomed into eternal life with Christ.

Rob was a man of joy who believed life was meant to be lived fully, making memories, having fun, and cherishing time with those he loved. He enjoyed pickleball, traveling, hiking, coaching, family traditions, and cheering on the University of North Texas, his alma mater. His infectious smile, generous spirit, and ability to find fun in everyday moments will be remembered by all who knew him.

Above all else, Rob cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to Nichole and a proud father to Lilian, who was the joy of his life. He adored her wholeheartedly and treasured every moment they shared. The bond between them was extraordinary, and the love he poured into her life will continue to shape and inspire her forever.

Rob had a passion for pickleball. The competition energized him, but it was the friendships and connections that meant the most. Through countless games, conversations, and shared experiences, Rob built lasting relationships that enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

While we miss him deeply, we take comfort in God’s promise that this separation is temporary. We will carry Rob in our hearts every day until we are reunited with him in heaven.

Rob is survived by his loving wife, Nichole Johnson; his cherished daughter, Lilian Johnson; his father, Bob Johnson, Sr.; his mother, Paula Johnson; his sister, LaCretia Johnson; his brother-in-law, Mike Smith; his brother, Aaron Johnson; and his sister-in-law, Janna Johnson, along with many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

Rob’s final earthly resting place is Ridgeview West Memorial Park, Spirit Garden, in Frisco, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

In honor of Rob’s life and legacy, a memorial fund has been established to combine two of his greatest passions: pickleball and sharing the hope of Christ with the next generation. Donations will support Preston Trail Community Church’s expansion efforts and the creation of an outdoor gathering space that includes a pickleball court—an environment designed to welcome students, families, and neighbors while creating opportunities to connect people to Christ.

Rob’s Memorial Zelle QR is listed below.

Family and friends are invited to join the family for a gathering to celebrate and remember Rob’s life on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Johnson family home, 11650 Eastpark Lane, Frisco, Texas 75033. This will be a casual come-and-go time of fellowship, remembrance, and gratitude for the joy Rob brought to so many lives.

“When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” John 14:3

Until we meet again, Robby, we love you, we miss you, and we rejoice knowing you are home.
