Rachel Michelle Wingo, age 71, of Archer City, Texas passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Wichita County.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Roger Deerinwater of Archer City officiating.  Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Rachel was born August 1, 1951 in Archer City to the late Richard Hollis Wingo and Mary Ellen Shidler Wingo.

Rachel honorably served her country in the United States Navy from 1970 until 1975.  She currently was employed as a truck driver for Crete Trucking Company where she worked since 1996.  Rachel loved motorcycles, corvettes, going to the races, and traveling. Rachel was a member of the Corvette Club of Wichita Falls.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Copeland; two nieces, Becky Copeland and Kayla Copeland all of Byers; two nephews, Jimmy Copeland and wife, Courtney of Wichita Falls and Travis Copeland and wife, Cheri of Spring; four great-nieces, Kynlee, Hayden and Harper Copeland, and Taylor Symons; and two great-nephews, Truitt and Harrison Copeland.

She was also preceded in death by a niece, Shannon Symons.
