Perry Joe Moore, 65, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Dallas, Texas.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. September 12, 2015, in the chapel of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Carl Wright officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

A son of the late Joe Clovis and Mary Sue (Kelly) Moore, Perry was born on January 27, 1950 in Houston, Texas and was raised in Electra, Texas. He graduated from Electra High School in 1968. Perry was an Eagle Scout. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1972 as a CPA. His first job was at Arthur Anderson, where he met Kristin Brodd. He married Kristin Lorraine Brodd August 31, 1974. He worked for Brown & Root, Inc. as a Controller, a Director of Finance at Adolph Coors, and Assistant Controller at Stearns Catalytic World Corp. Perry worked as Senior Vice President of Finance at Green Holdings, Inc. and retired in 1995. He traveled throughout the world with his employment with Green and loved his job.

Perry loved to travel and tell stories. He enjoyed introducing his loved ones to new places and cuisine.

He is survived by three sons, Matthew Moore of Wuxi, China, Zach Moore and wife, Heather of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, and Benjamin Moore and wife, Mechal of San Diego, California; a brother, Sammy Moore and wife, Misty of Electra, seven grandchildren, Collin, Cassidy, and Charles all of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, Micah, Myles, Madalyn, and Ian all of San Diego, California; a niece, Kelly Moore of Electra; a nephew, Noah Moore of Enid, Oklahoma; a great-nephew, Ayden Anzaldua of Electra.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Lee Moore in 2007.
