Paula K. Williams Pollock, age 70, of Archer City, Texas passed away Friday evening, September 7, 2018, at a Wichita Falls, Texas hospital.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Archer City with Roger Deerinwater officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Paula was born May 26, 1948 in Olney, Texas to the late Cecil Edwards Williams and Luella Mae Wilson Williams.  She and Rusty Pollock were married December 11, 1965 in Olney.

She grew up in Olney and had worked as a nurse at both the Hamilton Hospital in Olney and the Archer City Nursing Home.  She had lived in Archer City since January of 1968 and was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church where she had sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and even drove the church bus to pick up and deliver kids that needed a ride to church.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and watching birds at her bird feeders in her front yard.

She is survived by her husband, Rusty; two sons, Tony of Archer City, and Greg of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Carolyn Dobbs and Cynthia Dobbs, both of Olney; her brother, Glenn Williams, of Olney; four grandchildren, Derrik Pollock and his wife Joscelin, Desiree Pierce, Caleb Pollock, and Isaac Pollock; and two great-grandchildren, Brielle and Brodie.
