Pat Kemple, age 91, lifelong resident of Electra, Texas passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Terry Hickman, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in New Electra Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Pat was born May 3, 1931 in Electra to the late Norman Hiram Thompson and Johnnie Juanita Dennis Thompson.

She graduated from Electra high School and then went on to college.  She was employed by the Electra Telephone, Electra State Bank and was the Administrator of Electra Housing Authority until her retirement in 2012.  Pat also delivered Meals on Wheels.  She was very active in her community throughout her life.

Pat married Allen Dale Kemple on January 25, 1963 in Electra, Texas.  He preceded her in death on January 16, 2014.

Pat was a lifelong member of Bible Baptist Church and Chi Epsilon Sorority.  She loved to knit and her specialty was dish washing cloths and making rum cakes. Her passion was her family, friends, and those in need that she felt she could help in a positive way. She was always willing to go the extra mile when it came to helping others. She lead with a servants heart to those around her and always aimed to make a difference. She loved spending time with her grandkids, teaching them how to dance, sing, and even TikTok.

Survivors include five daughters, Patricia Smith and husband, Nathan of Electra, Debra Byrd of Burkburnett, Linda Gee and husband, Terry of Iowa Park, Karen Kemple Holmes of Electra, Katie Rose and husband, Tom of Dallas; two sons, Gary Kemple of Austin, Stuart Wood and wife, Eleana; one brother, Johnny Thompson and wife, Rosa Lee of Electra; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Norman, William and Arthur Thompson.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 or to the Electra Volunteer Fire Department, 111 East Cleveland St. Electra, Texas 76360.
