Michael Wayne Kimbro, Jr., age 52, of Electra, Texas, passed away Monday morning, May 22, 2023, in Electra.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at Bible Baptist Church of Electra with Rev. Terry Hickman officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Mikey was born September 26, 1970 in Wichita Falls to Michael Wayne Kimbro, Sr. and Dottie Jean Morrison Kimbro.

He was a 1989 graduate of Electra High School where he played every sport.

Mikey worked for Air Tractor in Olney as an Aircraft Assembler for many years.

He loved fishing and all things sports related.  He was an amateur boxer and was a two time Junior Olympic Champion.  Mikey was an avid Texas Longhorns fan.  He loved his children and family very much.

Survivors include one son, Regan Kimbro of Iowa Park; two daughters, Presley Tyler Kimbro and Hadley Michelle Kimbro of Electra; his parents, Mike and Dottie Kimbro of Electra; two brothers, Byron Kimbro and Nancy Carter, and Kyle Kimbro, all of Electra; one nephew, Acy Kimbro and wife, Katell of Vernon; two nieces, Alexis Kimbro of Iowa Park and Haleigh Dawn Kimbro of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Kennedy Tyler Kimbro on October 15, 2004.

Mikey loved long sleeve white, button up shirts. The family suggests wearing a long sleeve white shirt or casual dress for the service, as that is what Mikey would have wanted.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Boys and Girls Club of Wichita Falls, 1318 6th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301.
