Maurice Parks Kulp, Jr., age 70, of Electra, Texas passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Electra Health Care.

Cremation was under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra. No services are planned.

Maurice was born September 18, 1947 in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania to Maurice Parks Kulp and Margaret Selena Nickel Kulp.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Maurice was an electrician throughout his life.

He and Mary Owens were married May 22, 1978 in Vernon, Texas.

Maurice loved the Lord and his family.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working in his yard.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kulp of Electra; three daughters, Sandra Maholos of Pennsylvania, Toni Unruh and husband, Dennis of Electra, and Sarah Kulp of Electra; his mother, Margaret Pierce and husband, Jim of Pennsylvania; one son, Maurice Kulp, III of Pennsylvania; one brother, Kurt Kulp of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Clarice Sapp, Gail Doyle and Mary Ann Pierce and husband, Jeff all of Pennsylvania; and nine grandchildren, Dakota, Rebecca, Jacob, Chance, Joshua, Matthew, Elijah, Ethan and Caleb.

He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Kulp; one daughter, Kerri Kulp; and one son, Joshua Kulp.
