Mary Jeanne Wolf, age 89, of Windthorst, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in Vista Living of Archer.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, with Rev. Michael Moloney, O.F.S. Parochial Administrator of St. Mary's and St. Boniface Catholic Church, and Deacon Don Brown officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Mary Jeanne was born February 7, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Jacob Nicholas and Mary Catherine Steinberger Schenk.  She graduated in 1946 from Windthorst High School.

She and Cletus Albert Wolf were married December 7, 1947 in Scotland.  He preceded her in death on December 14, 1983.

Mary Jeanne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir.  She also was a member of the Christian Mother's Society.  Mary Jeanne volunteered for Hospice of Wichita Falls and the Maternity Cottage in Wichita Falls.  She loved square dancing and always had a big garden and beautiful flowers.  She passed on her love of flowers to all of her children.

Survivors include three sons, Pat Wolf and wife, Joann of Windthorst, Steve Wolf and wife, Deborah of Round Rock, and David Wolf and wife, Pam of Graham; three daughters, Michelle Green and husband, Mark of Archer City, Doris Atkins and husband, Shawn of Greenville, South Carolina, and Dawn Wolf Taylor and husband, Chris of Houston; brother, Danny Schenk and wife, Donna of Scotland; sister, Betty Ann Moulton of Athens; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by daughters, Marilyn Sheffield Bryant on October 25, 1989 and Margaret Ann Johnson on February 21, 2012; three brothers, Sonny, James and George Schenk; and two sisters, Margie Jackson and Carolyn Stallcup.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Wolf, Josh Wolf, Wes Wolf, Les Sheffield, Kellen Green, Kelvin Green and Chance Atkins.
