Marvin H. Hubbard, age 84, of Archer City, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 08, 2017, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Military graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017, in the Archer City Cemetery with Andy Graham, Pastor of Southside Baptist Church of Olney, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Marvin was born October 19, 1933 to the late Ernest Calvin Hubbard and Ida Delphine Booth Hubbard in Olney, Texas.

He and Peggy McWhorter were married August 2, 1953 in Megargel, Texas.

Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  After his tour of duty, he was a truck driver for sixty years with ten years of service with Archer County.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Peggy of Archer City; two sons, Billy Hubbard and wife, Janell of Olney and Lanny Hubbard and wife, Diane of Archer City; one daughter, Karren Winter of Archer City; two sisters, Frances Kunkel of Olney and Velera Shipley of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren, Michelle Riddles and husband, Bryan, Jennifer Lane and husband, Brandon, Josh Winter and wife, Shawna, Jessica Berend and husband, Zac, Jason Winter, Megan Randall and husband, Thomas and Caleb Hubbard and wife, Megan; eight great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Landri Riddles, Caden and Libby Lane, Adelyn Winter, Kylie and Paisley Randall and baby boy Hubbard; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Hubbard on February 23, 1989 and one brother, W.C. "Dub" Hubbard.
