Marsha Anne Strange, age 61, lifelong resident of Electra, Texas, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Electra with Rev. Toby Castleberry, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Vernon, Texas, officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Marsha was born February 12, 1963 in Electra, Texas to Ogden Virgil "O.V." Edward Strange and Sherry June Willett Strange,

She was a 1981 graduate of Electra High School where she played saxophone in the band.  Marsha took her knowledge of music and learned to play the organ.

Marsha worked as a Claims Processor for Blue Cross Blue Shield for twenty-seven years.  Her work friends became almost like family and she and a group of girls from work would meet regularly for dinner and drinks or brunch.

She was a great cook and would try any recipe at least once.  Marsha loved country music, reading books, working puzzles, taking cruises with family and especially her casino trips with her mother, Sherry.  Her dog, Charlie, was one of her greatest joys in life, but her granddaughter, Fallon Paige, was absolutely her biggest blessing and pride and joy.

Survivors include her mother, Sherry Strange of Electra; one son, Heath Marsh and wife, Jamie of Electra; two step-sons, Wayne Marsh of Electra and Andy Marsh of Windthorst; her brother, Scott Strange of Electra; three grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Fallon Paige; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marsha was preceded in death by her father, O.V. Strange; one nephew, Sheldon Strange; and her sister-in-law, Keli Strange.
