Mark Harrelson of Van Buren Arkansas, age 62, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, following an automobile accident that took place on April 13, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church located at 224 South Center Street, Archer City, Texas with Pastor Ricky Allen of the Archer City Cowboy Church officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Mark was born on May 30, 1959 to the late Leo Jerome Harrelson and Barbara Lee Rowe Harrelson in Archer City, Texas.  He graduated from Archer City High School.

He and Donna Joyce Morgan were married November 18, 1989 in Katy, Texas.

Mark had supervised the building of the US Embassy and Consulate in many other countries.  He also built numerous sky scrapers in the United States.  At the time of his accident, Mark was employed by Binswanger Commercial Glass and Steel.

Mark was the president of Sheltering Wings Ministry.  He loved to ride his bicycle, fish and camp out, however, his most favorite joy was studying the bible.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Morgan Harrelson of Van Buren Arkansas; children, Lisa and Ken Frisby, Bill and Georgetta Dittman, Ben and Terri Dittman, and James and Renee Dittman, all of Texas; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren that loved him dearly.  He is also survived by his brothers, Phil Harrelson and wife, Sherry of Katy Texas, Wayne Harrelson and wife, Kay of Weatherford Texas; sister,  Patricia Custer of Waco Texas; in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  Mark loved all and was loved by all.

Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Clay, Joseph, Benjamin, Jonathan, David, Christian, and Dylan Dittman, Joshua, Keneniah, and Christian Frisby.  Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Ashley Dittman Caballera, Sarah Frisby Ebeling, Abigail Dittman, Maliyah Martinez.
