Margaret Elizabeth Smith Reams, age 86, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Chad Stubblefield officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Margaret was born August 12, 1938 in Cross Roads, Missouri to the late John P. Smith and Eunice Fern Gott Smith.

She married Bobby Reams of Electra on October 19, 1955 in Frederick, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on June 18, 2003.

Margaret received a Masters of Education Degree from Midwestern State University in 1985.  She retired from civil service at Sheppard Air Force Base in 1999 at which time she accepted a position as a counselor at Wayland Baptist University.

After her second retirement, she enjoyed spending lots of time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Wade Reams and wife, Judy of Iowa Park; two grandsons, Blake Reams and wife, Melody and Brady Reams and wife, Makayla, all of Wichita Falls; four great-grandchildren, Camryn, Jackson, Harper and Hudson; two special sister-in-laws, Pat Macias and Sue Jones; several nieces and nephews; and a dear great-niece, Julie Huff.
