Marcella Evelyn Koetter, age 98, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2025, in Texoma Christian Care Center.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Windthorst with Reverend Michael Moloney, OFS, Pastor of St. Mary's and St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Marcella was born December 16, 1926 in Windthorst to the late Henry Herman Koetter and Anna Evelyn Kreynest Koetter.

Marcella's whole life was about serving others.  She worked as a housekeeper and babysitter for many families.  Marcella loved to tell stories and would laugh so hard that everyone would laugh even harder.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society.  She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Chapter # 296 of Windthorst.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Marcella was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Edwin, Virgil and Kenneth Koetter and her sister, Rosella Berend.
