Lucy Franco Davila, age 75, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away Thursday night, December 2, 2021, at her residence.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Overcoming Word Praise Center, located at 1801 Airport Drive, with Pastor Juan Carrion officiating.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Overcoming Word Praise Center.

Lucy was born May 16, 1946 to the late Onesimo Franco and Maria Garza Franco in Wichita Falls.

She married the love of her life, Manuel Davila III, on February 17, 1967 in Wichita Falls.

Lucy was a beautician for many years.  In her later years, she was a dedicated pastor's wife.  Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Lucy loved to cook and being a homemaker for her family and had a smile and contagious laugh that would light up any room. She was a loving caregiver, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and was known by all for her compassion and selfless spirit.

Lucy was a lifetime member of Templo De-Alabanza Church in Wichita Falls.

Lucy will be greatly missed by her husband, Manuel Davila; three sons, Mike Davila and Patricia Herrera, Monte Davila and wife, Jeanette, and Matt Davila and wife, Maria, all of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Emily Moreno of Wichita Falls, Dora Ramirez of Houston and Aurora Gonzales and husband, Manuel of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Marcos, Myra, Micah, Max, Marissa and Mason; three great-grandchildren, Hezekiah "Hezzy", Anais and Mariana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Malachi Davila; her brother, Alex; and sister, Mary.
