Lucille Britt, age 96, of Electra, Texas passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022,  in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.  No services are planned.

Lucille was born May 18, 1925 in Electra, Texas to the late Benjamin Jackson Lynn and Elsie Euella Scarbrough Lynn.

She married Luther Britt and he preceded her in death on April 29, 1998.

Lucille was employed at the General Hospital in Wichita Falls.  She also worked at the Vernon State Hospital in the Children's ward for several years.

Lucille was an active member of the First Assembly of God where she sang in the choir.  Attending church was one of the most important things in Lucille's life.

Survivors include two sons, Johnnie Britt and wife, Beckie of Electra and Pat Britt of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Bertha Lynn and Norma Lynn of Dallas; one brother, Charles Lynn and wife, Betty of Krum; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and a nephew.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Shannon;brother, Jack Lynn, and daughter-in-law, Melissa Britt.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her niece, Diana Deadmond for all the love and care that she gave Lucille.
