Cynthia Louanne Martin, age 71, of Olney, Texas, formerly of Archer City, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 in Hospice of Wichita Falls surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2024 in the Archer City Cemetery with Dan Reddick, Minister of the Archer City Church of Christ, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Louanne was born October 28, 1953 in Haskell, Texas to Patrick Preston Martin, Jr. and Jennie Lou Howard Martin.

She was a 1972 graduate of Archer City High School.  After high school, Louanne earned an associate's degree from Cisco Junior College in 1974.

Louanne was a dispatcher for the Archer County Sheriff's Department until 1977 when she moved to Odessa.  While living in Odessa, she worked in the hospital pharmacy.  Louanne returned to Archer City in 1989.

She loved Elvis Presley and country music.  Louanne was a member of the Archer City Church of Christ.

Survivors include her parents, Pat and Jennie Martin of Archer City; one sister, Donna Weaver and husband, Keith of Lubbock; one brother, Pat Martin and wife, Teresa of Archer City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Cheryl Martin on June 8, 2019.
