Lois Hicks, age 84, of Archer City, Texas passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, in Olney.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, in the Archer City Cemetery with Roger Deerinwater, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.
Lois was born June 16, 1928 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Brodie Manus Cook and Lucy Ann Rolen Cook.
She and James Hicks were married in 1946 in Vernon, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1999.
Lois was a homemaker and a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Hicks of Archer City and Travis Hicks and wife, Teresa of Katy, Texas; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Wanda Gray and Dianne Cherry and nine brothers and sisters.
