Leland Wayne Moore, age 62, of Electra passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Bible Baptist Church of Electra with Rev. Terry Hickman officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Leland was born November 30, 1958 in Vernon, Texas to James Earl Moore and Peggy Mildred Cook Moore.  He graduated from Electra High School.

He married Debby Troxel in September 1983.  She preceded him in death in October 2003.

He was employed as a rig operator for Jimmy Goodwin for fifteen years.  Then he was employed by Piping Engineering as a pipe fitter and helper until his retirement.

Leland was a member of Bible Baptist Church.  He loved pitching washers, hunting, fishing and aggravating people.  He also enjoyed to bar-b-que and spending time with his family.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Moore of Illinois, Ryan Moore of Pekin, Illinois, and Justin Moore of Electra; one daughter, Amy Faulk and husband, Justin of Minooka, Illinois; mother, Peggy Moore of Electra; two sisters, Sherry Ali and Terry Stevens and husband, Edwin, all of Electra; one brother, Darrell Moore and wife, Nora of Electra; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Jim on October 1, 1994, sister, Tracy Parish on January 30, 2008, great-nephew, Tanner Alaniz on September 3, 2017 and two brothers-in-law, Cecil Holley and Syed Ali.
