Leander "Lee" J. Reis, age 80, of Electra, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Electra with Rev. Khoi Trahn officiating.  Visitation: 9:00 a.m.; Rosary 10:00 a.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Lee was born November 12, 1937 in Electra to Alexander George Reis, Sr. and Marie Mathilda Veitenheimer Reis.

He married the love of his life, Linda Fern Todd on September 12, 1958 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Lee worked in the oilfield throughout his life.  He was a friend to all and never met a stranger.  He loved hunting and fishing.  He had coached Little League for many years and served as president of the association.  Lee's greatest love was his family especially his grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Electra.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of Electra; two sons, Tony Reis and wife, Mona of Burkburnett and Randy Reis of Electra; one daughter, Melissa Renicks and husband, Ricky of Graham; two brothers, A.G. Reis, Jr. and wife, Ingrid of Lake Arrowhead and Richard Reis and wife, Debbie of Iowa Park; two sisters, Marie Beth Fenoglio of Houston and Pam Dulaney and husband, Scott and Electra; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Genevieve Reis and Jeanette Wernette; brother, Marvin Reis and granddaughter, Misty Reis.
