La Waunna May, age 63, of Archer City went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday evening, December 8, 2017.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with her dear friend, Joyce Addison, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

La Waunna was born October 2, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Charles Gene Elledge and Leora Blocker.

She graduated from Archer City High School.

La Waunna married the love of her life, Jerry May on October 17, 1981 in Wichita Falls.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.  La Waunna was a member of the First Baptist Church and also a member of a Bible Study that was held in her home which she enjoyed very much.  Her favorite thing to do was shop.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Archer City; three sons, Stephen of Archer City, Christopher of South Carolina and Shane of East Texas; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leora on July 18, 1983; her father, Gene on April 14, 2010 and her brother, Billy on May 23, 2003.
