Electra
Kyra Lynne Olson, age 9, of Granbury, Texas, formerly of Electra, passed away Tuesday morning, January 8, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Lonnie Lehrman, Pastor of the Granbury Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Kyra was born December 29, 2003 to Jeremy Scott Olson and Alicia Thompson Olson in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She attended Dinsmore Elementary in Electra until moving to Granbury in 2009 where she attended Oakwoods Elemetary. Kyra was a member of the Granbury Baptist Church. She loved activities such as swimming, and skating, and especially loved hugs.
Survivors include her father and mother, Jeremy and Alicia Olson of Granbury; sister, Loryn Hopper of Granbury; maternal grandmother, Kay Thompson of Electra, and paternal grandmother and grandfather, Nancy and Johnny Case of Electra.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Alan Thompson on July 27, 2004; great-grandfather, Doc Hounshell on October 17, 2010 and great-grandmother, Nela Hounshell on December 25, 2010.
