Krysten Wilson Owen, Electra
Krysten Wilson Owen, age 29, of Electra, Texas passed away Saturday afternoon, May 23, 2015, in a Dallas, Texas hospital.
Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra, with her Uncle Flint Skaggs of Burkburnett, Texas, officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Interment will be in the Electra Memorial Park.
Krysten was born August 23, 1985 in Wichita Falls to Ricky Dean Wilson and Denise Edwards Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of Electra and had attended schools in Electra and Harrold. She had been employed as a correctional officer with the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice at the James V. Allred Unit in Wichita Falls until her health no longer allowed her to work.
She is survived by her two sons, Bryson Tyler Owen of Vernon, Texas and Trace Able Lee Garcia of Electra; her daughter, Holly Melissa Owen of Vernon; her mother, Denise Anderson of Electra, and her father, Rusty Anderson of Windthorst, Texas; her brother, Zackary Wilson of Electra; and her grandparents, Betty Jean Grant of Electra and Russell Wilson of Haslet, Texas.
Krysten was preceded in death by a son, Nathanial Farrow; her father, Ricky D. Wilson; and two grandparents, Mary Helen Wilson and James Edwards.
