The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Kenlan was born May 15th, 2013 to Justin and Kelly Coleman in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the baby of the four siblings. Kenlan was 13 years old. He was His Daddy’s right hand man, Scooter, and His Mama’s perfect baby, Boo. He spent every day helping his mama with his niece, Kaisley, and nephew, Kolter, helping care for them, while teaching them the way of the ranch. They adored him and wanted to be with him no matter what he was doing. He loved them more than anything and told them daily. He was the Best Uncle Scooter! Kenlan was smart and handsome and always had a big smile on his face. He spent his days horseback working cattle for his daddy and for ranches all over Texas. He was the hardest worker and always willing to do anything for anyone. If you knew Kenlan, you knew fishing was where you would usually find him no matter the time, day or weather. He started his own farm, “Coleman Farm”, a couple years ago, where he raised chickens, ducks and quail. If he wasn’t fishing or hunting, he was down at his farm working and feeding all hours of the day. He made quite a big business for himself selling eggs, chickens and ducks. He enjoyed nightly walks with his mama where they talked about everything and enjoyed their time just the two of them, always catching the sunset together. Kenlan was a member of the Windthorst 4H where he has showed rabbits and pigs the past seven years and he loved every minute of that! Kenlan enjoyed hanging out with his buddies, his brothers, Keaton and Kelbin, and he was blessed with the best of both. Kenlan had the biggest heart and he never went without telling you he loved you. He LOVED BIG! He was the Happiest Cowboy and loved life.

Kenlan was a bright light in this world and if you knew him, you loved him! He was always able to make you smile and laugh. He had the Best Smile.

Our hearts are shattered, but we know he is with his sister, Kaybree, again and they are rejoicing!

Kenlan is survived by his parents, Justin and Kelly Coleman; brothers, Keaton Coleman and wife, Kaylynn and Kelbin Coleman all of Windthorst, Texas; niece, Kaisley Coleman of Windthorst, Texas; nephew, Kolter Coleman of Windthorst, Texas; his beloved Dog, Pepper and all his ducks, chickens and Quail; grandparents, Charles and Connie Winkles of Henrietta, Texas, Larry and Helen Duncan of Henrietta and Danny and Tami Coleman of Wichita Falls, Texas; Aunts and Uncles, Chris and Angie Duncan of Henrietta, Texas, Vince and Jamie Casillas of Archer City, Texas; Cousins, Kristen Duncan, Addie Duncan , Alyssa Casillas, Katelyn Casillas, Maci Casillas; numerous Great Uncles, Great Aunts, Cousins, and far too many friends to name.
