Keller Spade Garrett, age 6, of Archer City, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, as a result of an automobile accident.
A Celebration of Spade's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Archer City High School Auditorium with John Riggs, Pastor of Texoma Cowboy Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, at Aulds Funeral Home.
Spade was born April 3, 2017 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Zachary Ray Garrett and Haylie Elizabeth Steel Garrett.
Spade was a graduate of Archer City Kindergarten. He loved trucks, tractors and his dogs. Spade played baseball on the Wildcat Baseball Team. He also enjoyed showing his pigs at the Archer County Livestock Show. Spade loved playing with his cousins who were his partners in crime. He had a contagious smile and laughter. One of his favorite times was when he could go on the truck with his Dad and farming with him. Spade attended Texoma Cowboy Church.
Survivors include his parents, Zac and Haylie Garrett of Archer City; sister, Kuttar Edwards; brother, Kreid Edwards, both of Archer City; maternal grandparents, Mark and Holly Steel; paternal grandparents, Gary and Brenda Garrett, all of North Archer County; maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Stone of Brownwood; aunts, Darbie Edwards and husband, Adam, Sydnie Ridinger and husband, Art, and Lainie Crain and husband, Carter; uncles, Colter Garrett and wife, Christal and Tyler Steel and wife, Natilee; cousins, Talynn, Trigg, Brayden, Carter, Easton, Stetson, Copelynn, Knox, Knyte, Brigz, Charleigh, Carper, and Chayce.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kendall Coleman, Kelvin Green, Lane Lewis, Jarod Veitenheimer, Cody Weakley, and Shane Wright.
The family suggests memorials to the Archer City Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 367, Archer City, Texas 76351 and the Archer County Livestock Association, P.O. Box 1731, Archer City, Texas 76351.
