Kathy Duren, age 60, of Electra, Texas passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Kathy was born March 13, 1955 in Vernon, Texas to Johnny Elijah Baker and Mary Juanita Gearld Baker.

She was employed at the Friendly Lounge in Electra for fifteen years. Kathy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Harrold. She loved her dogs and cats. Kathy enjoyed reading but her passion was helping her friends.

Survivors include her parents, Don and Juanita Butler of Electra; two brothers, Johnny Ray Baker and wife, Brenda of Alvord and Donald Gene Baker and wife, Crystal of Electra; two sisters, Leona Chaney of Harrold and Alberta McCoy and husband, Mac of Electra; one step-brother, Ernie Butler and wife, Melinda of Electra; two step-sisters, Donna Lamb and Gay Butler both of Houston; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

The family suggests memorials to your local Humane Society.
