Kathy Clarkson Charlton, age 68, of Electra, Texas passed away, Monday, April 12, 2021, in Electra Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, in the Electra Memorial Park with Jon Curry, Pastor of Grace Community Church of Archer City, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Kathy was born December 10, 1952 to the late Earl Clarkson and Wilma Jean Owen.

She attended Electra High School and then became a Machinist for Wilson Manufacturing for several years.

In 1995, Kathy married Gary Charlton in Wichita Falls.  He preceded her in death on June 29, 2004.

Kathy loved her family dearly.  She was always there to help anyone  in time of need.  Kathy loved the Lord. She was a trooper and held on to life as long as she could.

Survivors include son, Michael Ray Bounds of Electra; daughter, Linda Michelle Britton of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Debbie Norris and husband, Larry of Iowa Park, Glenda Wilson and husband, Fred of Gainesville; and Pam Lowe of Houston; brother, Greg Owen and wife, Tonya of Electra; four grandchildren, Daniel Britton, Tiffany Britton, Crystal Bounds and Bethany Bounds; two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kinsleigh Britton; her best friend who always took great care of her, Elemer Featherston; and best friend, Bobbie Hilton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Damian Joel Segura on August 16, 1974; sister, Earla Hudson and nephew, Ronnie Whatley.
