Julia Pohlman, age 82, of Electra, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Electra Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October13, 2015, at the Southside Church of Christ with Dean Nelson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Julia was born March 27, 1933 in Snyder, Oklahoma to the late John Otis Tyler and Ann Louise Crecelius Tyler.
She graduated from Davidson High School. She spent nineteen years as a wife and mother and then went to school where she earned her LVN license. She was employed by Dr. Herman Gregory in Wichita Falls until her retirement in 1996.
Julia was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother. Julia loved to read.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Brockriede and husband, Carl of Electra; one brother, Tommy Tyler of Duncan, Oklahoma; one sister, Mary Versulis of Tucson, Arizona; one grandson, Mark Brockriede and wife, Carrie of Electra; one granddaughter, Keri Duarte and husband, Ronald of Little Elm, Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Rachel and Landon Brockriede of Electra and Lauren and Jack Duarte of Little Elm.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Pohlman in 1968.
The family suggests memorials to the Electra Public Library, 401 North Waggoner St., Electra, Texas 76360.
