Judy Carol Thomas Teague, age 74, of Port Angeles, Washington, formerly of Electra, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, in Port Angeles, Washington.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in the Old Electra Cemetery with Jon Curry, Pastor of Grace Community Church of Archer City, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Judy was born December 2, 1946 in Vernon, Texas to Robert Thomas and Oleta Geraldine Harris Thomas. She graduated from Harrold High School in 1964 where she was the Valedictorian.
She married Paul Teague on August 20, 1974 in Arlington, Texas.
Judy was employed for the United States Postal Service in Fort Worth and retired in 2010. She then moved to Scquim, Washington. She was employed at Home Depot for eleven years in Scquim. She enjoyed sitting around the campfire where her niece, Jennifer called her "Ain't Judy". Judy traveled extensively around the United States and overseas. Her favorite places were London, Spain, Paris, and Africa.
Judy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She loved hymns especially "If the Savior Stood Beside You" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Survivors include her son, James Cook of Port Angeles, Washington; brother, Robin Thomas and wife, Linda of Arlington, Texas; nephew, Jason Thomas and wife, Autumn and their children, Colton and Emerald Thomas; niece, Jennifer Thomas and other family members.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Harris when Judy was thirteen in 1960 and her father, Robert Thomas in 2001.
