Judy G. McDonald, age 78, of Wichita Falls passed away Saturday morning, January 12, 2019, at her residence in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at the Electra Memorial Park in Electra, Texas with Bill Lee of Holliday, Texas and Arley Fancher of Wichita Falls, officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Judy was born on November 13, 1940 in Fonde, Kentucky to the late Bee and Elta Rose Garland.  She grew up in Fonde and after graduation from Fonde High School she moved to Washington, D.C. where she met and married Gary L. "Tex" McDonald in September of 1963.  When they started their family, they moved to Wichita Falls.

She had worked at the City National Bank of Wichita Falls from 1969 until 1985 when she moved to Amarillo, Texas.  She retired in 2006 from Park Place Towers and then returned to Wichita Falls.

She was a member of Crestview Church of Christ in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include her husband, Gary L. "Tex" McDonald of the home; her son, Gary L. McDonald, Jr. and his wife Consuelo of Wichita Falls; her sister, Kathy Brooks of Virginia; two grandsons, Jarett and J.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

The family would also like to personally thank her neighbor, Kim Hopkins, and the doctors and staff of Hospice of Wichita Falls, especially her R.N. Mandi, for all their loving care and attention given to Judy.
