Judy Lane, age 66,  of Electra, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017,  in a Decatur hospital.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Ryan Vanderland, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Joe Ainsworth of Electra and Jonathan Ochoa, Pastor of Temple of Praise of Wichita Falls and Chaplain of the Wichita Falls State Hospital, officiating. Interment will be in New Electra Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Judy was born September 1, 1951 in Olney, Texas to William Atlee Dunlap, Jr. and Ruby Lee Sorenson Dunlap.

She graduated from Throckmorton High School and then Aladdin Beauty College in Wichita Falls.  Judy moved to Electra in 1973 where she was a beautician all of her life .

She married the love of her life, Gayle Lane on February 6, 1981 in Electra.  They were such a blessing to each other.

Judy was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Electra.  She was a Godly woman who enjoyed serving her Lord, the youth, her church and the community.  She was always available in times of need. Judy had the most beautiful smile and a genuine caring heart. Her most precious treasures were her husband, daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Gayle Lane of Electra; daughter, Traci Cooke and husband, Ernie of Wichita Falls; mother, Ruby Dunlap of Throckmorton; brother, Greg Dunlap of Throckmorton; and two grandchildren, Kyler McCain of Wichita Falls and Atlea Cooke of Wichita Falls.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jr. Dunlap.
