Joshua Landon Mills, age 34, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, passion, creativity, and deep love for those in his life. A dedicated E5 Electrician at Walker Engineering, Inc., Joshua brought the same precision and commitment to his work that he brought to every aspect of his life. He loved his job and took great pride in his craft. Family members often called on him to fix any electrical issue, and he would arrive ready to help. Joshua loved making people laugh, he always took the time to engage with his nieces and nephews and made them belly laugh often. He was the best Uncle to his six nieces and two nephews.

Joshua was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Raymond Melton Mills and Julie Ann Bonham Mills. When he was 14, his family moved to Bowie, Texas, where he grew up on 40 acres of family land in the country alongside three of his sisters and his brother. Those formative years in the countryside shaped his love for nature, adventure, and the simple pleasures of outdoor life. He spent countless hours exploring the property, making walking sticks, wandering down to the creek, and embarking on adventures that fueled his imagination and sense of wonder. Joshua also loved climbing trees—a passion he carried well into his adult life, never outgrowing the joy of scaling a tall trunk and seeing the world from above.

Joshua had the spirit of a warrior—fierce in his loyalty, gentle in his love, and unwavering in his devotion to family and friends. Though he had no children of his own, Joshua's heart expanded to embrace Reli Bohadana, whom he loved deeply and affectionately called "My Love." Through Reli's young son, Joshua experienced the profound joy of a loving father figure, drawing close to the child and stepping into a role that brought him immense fulfillment and purpose.

For Joshua, riding his motorcycle was more than a hobby—it was his "cloud," a place where he found freedom, clarity, and peace. The open road was where he could think, breathe, and feel alive.

Joshua's life was filled with the simple joys that mattered most. He cherished campfires with family and friends, where stories were shared and laughter echoed into the night. A natural musician, he played piano by ear and held a deep love for classical music, finding beauty and solace in its timeless compositions.

His passions extended to the whimsical and the social alike. Joshua loved attending Renaissance fairs, where he could immerse himself in history, costume, and community. He was a skilled pool player, often found challenging friends and family to friendly matches that turned into lasting memories. Concerts were another joy, where music and crowd energy combined to create unforgettable experiences.

Joshua had a rare gift for friendship. He made friends with people from all walks of life and considered each of those connections to be lifelong bonds. His openness, warmth, and genuine interest in others meant that no one was ever a stranger for long.

Joshua Landon Mills is remembered not for the years he lived, but for the depth with which he lived them. He was a warrior in spirit, a musician at heart, and a beloved partner, friend, and father figure. His love for Reli, his bond with her son, his love for the open road, the warmth of a campfire, the beauty of classical music, and the camaraderie of good company will continue to inspire those who knew him.

While his family grieves his absence, they find comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.

He is survived by his mother, Julie Mills of Wichita Falls; his four sisters, Marlaina (and Trey) McKnight of Iowa Park, Texas, Cassie (and Ethan Romine) of Montague, Texas, Mary (and Michael Miller) of Decatur, Texas, and Rebekah Mills of Wichita Falls; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Bryson, Brylee, Branson, Laramie, Clara, Mia, Adele, and Olivia; step-niece Ellie; and step-nephew Elijah. He is also survived by Reli Bohadana and her son, whom he loved as his own.

Joshua is preceded in death by his brother, Joel Ray Mills; his father, Raymond Melton Mills; and all of his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
