Jose Oswaldo Huerta Carrizal, age 42, of Windthorst, Texas passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, in Wichita Falls.

Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

Jose was born August 5, 1977 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to J. Concepcion Huerta Reyna and Teresa Carrizal Silva.

He married Esmeralda Nieto Villegas on October 22, 1996 in San Luis Potosi.

Jose was employed in Windthorst for several different dairies.  He also worked for Gene and Cathy Wolf and then the Scrap Mine in Wichita Falls.

Jose was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Windthorst.  He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and was always building something.  Jose was stubborn and hard-headed but was a loveable guy who enjoyed making jokes.  He left a lasting impression on everyone that he met.

Survivors include his wife, Esmeralda of Windthorst; son, Oswaldo Huerta and wife, Anna of Ft. Worth; daughter, Denise Huerta of Windthorst; brother, Daniel Huerta and wife, Christina of Olney; and two grandchildren, Aiden and Axel.
