Joe Ann Mason, age 82, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Electra, Texas passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at her residence.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lee, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, and Rev. Tom Medley, Pastor of University Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Joe Ann was born April 13, 1933 in Electra, Texas to the late Frank Lee Hollis and Myrtee Lee Humphries Hollis.

She and Harold Wayne Mason were married August 8, 1951 in Electra. Together, they had three children, Larry, Kathy and Kim. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2009.

Joe Ann was employed at Dillards in Wichita Falls for fourteen years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, UMW and Electra Hospital Auxiliary. She loved sewing, painting, crocheting and reading.

Survivors include one son, Larry Mason and wife, Vicki of Ft. Worth; two daughters, Kathy Rodgers of Electra, and Kim Allen and husband, Justin of Wichita Falls; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Asher Kelley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Allen, Mason Kelley, Jeff Mason, Larry Mason, Joshua Rodgers, and Zachary Rodgers.
