Jimmy Roy Via, 66, of Iowa Park died February 11, 2016 in Hospice of Wichita Falls.
No services are planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Jimmy was born May 12, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Erb Lee Via and Lorraine Viola Copeland Via.
Jimmy graduated from Iowa Park High School. He was a musician throughout his life.
He married Kathy Fay Goforth. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2012.
Survivors include: one son, Jimmy Lee Via and girlfriend, Tasha Winkler of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Karisa Via and husband, Austin Heard of Lamesa, Texas and Christopher Via of Iowa Park ;two great-grandsons, Braiden Heard and Kasen Via; four sisters, Faye Bardello, Pat Fulbright, Deanna Stansbury and Ruth Sampley; and several nieces and nephews.
