Jimmie was very dedicated to her profession and continued to maintain her nursing license even after retirement. According to her, she worked too hard to obtain that license and wasn't about to give it up!
Jimmie was a very giving person. She loved baking breads and cakes to give to others. Jimmie was also known for sending many, many cards for every occasion. She enjoyed hummingbirds, cardinals and traveling.
Jimmie was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Park. She was active in various church activities, but Operation Christmas Child was very important to her.
